In fact, these myths endanger life of the cured person along with the others. There are few cases where reinfection have occured .It is also estimated that some times tests can give false negative. In this case ,it is better to take extra protection for safety of society as well as your own health.

India, which has taken second place acccording to the number of infected persons is doing the COVID-19 response and management in close coordination and collaboration with the State/UT governments as per of its federal character.India has taken several strategic and calibrated measures for the prevention, containment and management of COVID-19.However,the management of COVID 19 infection in densely settled population is a big challange which no other country in the world is facing. One must remember that India is managing world's second largest population.

It has been observed that after acute COVID-19 illness, recovered patients may continue to report wide variety of signs and symptoms including fatigue, body ache, cough, sore throat, difficulty in breathing, etc. The recovery period is likely to be longer for patients who suffered from more severe form of the disease and those with pre-existing illness.

A holistic approach is required for follow up care and well-being of all post- COVID recovering patients. Heeding to this, the Union Health Ministry has issued a Post COVID Management Protocol. This provides an integrated holistic approach for managing patients who have recovered enough from COVID for care at home.

Emergency Manager is presenting the advice issued by Indian government. The Protocol is not meant to be used as a preventive / curative therapy.
